The SAFELipo technique allows for safe, consistent liposuction that does not damage flap blood supply and is easily taught to, and reproducible by, other surgeons. The fat separation used in the SAFELipo technique is performed without suction, which prevents suction avulsion injury to blood vessels by the cannula. Blood vessels then remain intact while free, separated fat is aspirated with small diameter cannulas. (Source: Clinics in Plastic Surgery) Source: MedWorm: Liposuction

I’m 22, and I work out a few days a week and lift weights, but my upper arm has a bit of fat covering up the muscles. I just can’t get rid of it no matter how hard I try! Could you tell me a little bit about arm liposuction, how it works, how long it lasts, and how safe it is compared to other types of lipo?

THANKS

I am considering to have liposuction done but I’ve heard of horror stories of complications, starting from infections to permanent disfigurement.

Also, if you have had liposuction, would you recommend just focusing on one area or tackling multiple problem areas in one go?

as a clue to avoid hypovolemia and subsequently the shock. This statement is in agreement with ATLS guidelines.
